Most of all because I missed typing. Since I left my desk job, the longest sentence I every type is some status updates in FB.

And It has been a year, for things happening in my life, I have already skipped few thousands entries I guess.

Anyway, I just wanna start blogging as though nothing happened between my gaps between blog.

Progress.....

This is the latest picture taken yesterday. I am not sure if it is the ligthing, or perhaps, I really getting ripped, but I like what I see. I think if I keep this is up, Insya Allah, end of the year I can really see some result.

New obsession: it's a good problem to have!

I am staring at my laptop, and it all look so strange to me. It is despressing, it make me scared, of my future, my sanity, i am not sure i can keep this up.

I cant live in fear, i always thought a true freedom in live is to live without fear. And for now i think it is the fear that becoming a driving force for me.
This fire now burning in my heart, I wont let it die, till my dream is achieve, if this is my dream i might take the risk to achieve it, sacrifices must be made, and I am not going to sit on my ass and whine!

Being Mobile....

I don't think I will ever go back to different phone after using iPhone. Owning a iPhone is best thing happened to my in a long time, it truly made me realize what is being mobile mean.

I am always in touch with my online world, All my work emails and personal email is pushed to my iPhone. Internet is at my fingertips, I can look for any information I want anywhere I am, anytime. Previously, I'll be wanting to look up something so badly and only to totaly forget about it once I reach home.

And it is also an iPod! I have the entire music library now mobile as well, it really help especially in gym. And I can plug it in to my car listen to my favourites while driving, and the best thing is I don' have to worry about missing incoming call while at it, as I can use the car speaker and iPhone mic and just start to talk.

Facebook update? I think it's too updated now till some already 'unfriend' me.. haha
Same goes to Tweeter and Fourquare as well.

However, using iPhone too much, somehow I started to treat all monitors/screens as if it is touch scree, I tried few time accidentally touch my laptop screen to make the text big, and also while using my wife phone, it weird. This technology should be applied to all devices, will make our life so much easier!

I swear I will never drop this phone as I did on previous phone!

Gym!

OK, here it is, laid out plainly......
This is how I look like now, I am giving myself 2 month from today, which will be end of Dec to look ripped, toned and perhaps shadows of six pack.
I am posting picture so that it will motivate me more since people have seen it and I will feel embarrassed if don't reach the target!

Imaad Visits the Barber....

NOT AGAIN!

It's always a drama when getting haircut for Imaad. He will just sit down quietly, but once the barber switched on the machine, he will start crying for no reason!

LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!

Getting haircut together with my father, is the only think I remember doing together every month without a miss with him. Since my father is always busy with his shop, I don't remember we did any of the typical father-son stuffs. Anyway, it doesn't matter, he was busy providing for the family and I am not complaining.

Where this post heading anyway? Ohh yeahh back to Imaad's hair cut.

He is 1++ now, and I think so far only had 3-4 haircuts, and drama EVERYTIME! 

I am not sure when he gonna accept the fact that as a guy he need to do this every month!

My Own 1Malaysia Story.

I found this term annoying, not because of its original meaning, but because it is overused and abused. It is everywhere you go, in you face! People simply use the term unnecessarily, "Kedai Arak 1Malaysia", "Photostat 1Malaysia" and  "Perkhimatan Cuci Kereta 1Malaysia" to name a few. As you read on, you will notice how one can really abuse the term 1Malaysia.

This post is not to investigate the abuse of the term 1Malaysia,but rather a experience I had that I think the closest to reflect the concept.

Last night, apparently, from the sight of lantern hanging everywhere and with people walking with beautifully decorated lantern, was a  (1Malaysia) Mooncake Festival for Chinese.

Arriving home last night, as I parked my car, my daughter's eyes shined with excitement looking at the colorful lantern hanging in Mr Lim's house, our neighbour. We were watching the family hanging the lanterns all over their front yard from afar. Then my wife suggested that I bring the kids nearer so that they can get a better view.

Daaniya and Imaad were excited as we walked to Mr Lim's house. Seeing we approaching, Auntie Lim opened the gate straight away and invited us in. There were having traditional mooncake snack  (I assume) outside in the car porch. They had various type of (1Malaysia) mooncakes, (1Malaysia) boiled baby yam, (1Malaysia) Pomelo, and there were some strange nut that look like bull horn called (1Malaysia) Water Caltrop which has very hard shell that you need to break it open to eat it. And of course (1Malaysia) Jasmine Chinese tea.

The whole family were there, except for their son in (1Malaysia) Singapore. All children already grown up and working. Their daughter were excited lighting up lanterns, sadly there were few casualties I saw few lanterns burned down accidentally. The son was there serving food with his girlfriend. I sat down with them, enjoying their meal (halal) with Chinese Tea with auntie and uncle Lim. Daaniya was just clinging to me (as usual) and just looked at the lanterns. She loved the Chinese tea. Imaad was kinda addicted to mooncake that I need to keep on feeding him the entire time.

So I asked them, what do they do on (1Malaysia) Mooncake festival?

They said what I see is pretty much what they do for mooncake festival, since they are Christians, they don't go for temple, but since mooncake is more of cultural celebration rather than a religious one, they celebrate it anyway. Its just family gathering, lighting up lanterns, and if you have kids, bringing them walking around at night with lanterns, enjoying mooncake traditional foods.Thats pretty much wrap up Mooncake Festival for Mr Lim's family!

If I had stayed home last night, I would not learnt or experienced anything about mooncake festival. I am glad I brought my children out. So celebrating 1Malaysia mooncake festival will be imprinted in thier memory and perhaps they might see people of all races as just human, beyond the skin color and social prejudices.

My ancient Sony Ericsson K530i is showing signs of deterioration.
The display disappears suddenly and sometimes the colors changes to 16 bit really ugly display.
It has been about  3 years, it has lasted more than its live expectancy.

Anyway.....on a totally isolated and UNRELATED development, MAXIS said it will launch the new iPhone4 on 26th September 2010. The package is interesting, not sure how DIGI package gonna look like, but I am kinda loyal to Maxis. That's all, a piece of information, really not related to my phone being broke.

UNIFI

Just got my UNIFI installed. I am practically flying in the cyberspace.
I got VIP  5 package, from speed test, I am getting  5Mbs download and upload.
My torrents are like on steroids. One whole movies are downloaded within few minutes.
And you tube is no longer a pain to watch. And the HyppTV is just cherry on top!

Now I wanna get:

• More powerful PC, with LOTS of storage.
• Maybe a jukebox, or entertainment center so that I can watch HD movies.

Damn it, my wish list is getting out of hand!

Imaad is ONE !!!!

Time sure flies!

My boy Imaad is one years old today. He was born on last Ramadhan.

He just started to walk properly few weeks back. Now he is kinda showing off is walking skills. And Daaniya is becoming a better sister than before, although she still have some issues when it comes to sharing, otherwise she treat him well, and cheer him when he start walking. There are few time she just push Imaad away when he come disturbing her while she coloring.

Happy Birthday Sweet Imaad, may your smile and laughters light up the whole world!

Of accident prone Imaad.

As warned by so many, even before Imaad is born, like:

• "Boys are rough, not as easy as looking after girls" or 
• "Be careful, you need keep BOTH eyes on boys, they never sit still" or
• "You can say good bye to your decorative, furnitures and that beautiful bamboo blind hanging in at the hall, you boy sure will destroy it!"

I guess, it is true, boys will be boys. It was easy to look after Daaniya when she was small, she will just sit and play with her toys, just crawl around hall area. Imaad in completely different story.

Now he started walking, which is great, but he also started to climb on anything! sofa, rocking chair, house gate, toddlers gate, stand fan (is it even possible to climb it?), anything that stands vertical he will try to climb it. In doing so he will keep on falling. Banging his head here and there.

I guess raising a boy can be a challenge, they tend to demand more attention,especially from mother. They are very curious about everything around them and the moment you look other way, they are already half way on the staircase  to upstairs (happened to me). Anyway, what with children and staircase? what attract them to staircase? it just a mystery, someone please do some research on this please! ahhh and also the unexplainable attraction of toddlers towards remote controls and cellphone. Seriously, this would make a great PhD research i think.

He can do all the mischievous thing and you will be so angry,but when he look at you with that cutest smile, you heart will melt.Seriously, Imaad has the cutest smile ever!

Fitrah

I was at Jusco just now during lunch, not that I went to eat, I was bored and I needed to buy insole for my new shoe.
Anyway, there was this Zakat Fitrah counter. So I went gladly paid the zakat and left the counter to join my friends.
Only after that I realized, I completely forgotten about Imaad! I am a terrible dad! Imaad gonna be mad when he reads this .......
So I went to the counter and paid for another head.

Ramadhan al Mubarak

This Ramadhan is just full of challange. I didn't even relaised Ramadhan approaching and now we are already 7th day of fasting.

• My father in law suffered a stroke, was warded and now back home, half of his body is weak, especially the left leg. Now he is doing phisio at home.
• Ajim lak masuk ward, suspected encephalitis, cured then readmitted cause of allergic reaction to medication. Now Alhamdulillah, he is fine.
• My wife's grandma, also admitted to Assuntha, cause of difficulties in breathing. She is also bit better now.
• My whole family had a virus flu of some kind which ended up with really nasty sore throat. It started with me, then my kids, wife, and now the whole in law house infected.
• Not to mentioned retrenchment going in office, even though my departments was spared, the morale is LOW.
• My dad admitted to Bentong Hospital cause of lowblood pressure and difficulties breathing.

I am really hoping that by end of Ramadhan everything will be fine with the grace of Allah.

Much Needed Break.

I am looking forward for my UK trip, and this is an understatement.

That's all I am thinking about for weeks, I need break from work. I need to unwind and rethink a lot of things.
Too bad my wife and kids unable to join me this time, as I am going just an escort for my parents, but, I still can have fun.

And I am really hopeful that ash from Iceland doesn't interfere with the flight schedule, or else everything will be ruined!

Where I am Going? - Thats the title for my blog (for now) and its funny, when I look at the header banner for the  blog, it list streets of London, which when I put it up, it thought it was rather suitable picture, very related to the tittle, not in my wildest dream I was thinking that will be going to London this year!

UK (hopefully other countries in Europe too), here I come!

Birthday Dinner

Had a great dinner for my 35th Birthday. Wife treat me at TGI Fridays, she promised me no hanky pankies, but she didn't keep to her promise...

Initial plan was to g to Chilli's at Imperial Gallery, but it turnout it is not open yet, so we walked to TGI in Subang Parade.

They made me stand on chair and ask to make a speech, but wife said it is not enough and made me sing a song with ketchup bottle !!!cruel.......

and ask to blow a birthday candle which is no top of a waiter like 6-7 feet away. Thank God I didnt spit on him.

Major Service

40,000 Km. It's time for major service. And it cost RM700 ++, the money I got from 'cukai terlebih bayar' are gone here.

It's is always like that, the moment I have some extra money coming in, there will be extra expenditure will be coming in as well. Shall I be upset or happy that, God plan for me extra income because He knows extra expands are coming on the way? Anyway Alhamdulillah.


In about 2 more hours, I will be 35. It just a number, in the last exercise I took during team building, my biological age is actually 19! So I guess, I am quite fit, again Alhamdulilah.
