A gift from Thailand

Found this on my table this morning. A gift from my boss. He went vacation to Thailand. He got one of these for everyone in the department. It is plasticine in a balloon like plastic. Can molded into any shape we want. Great stress releaser. Let see how creative I can get. I am gonna name him Wilson.

I am a bad person.

There you go! That bold statement. Hope this will satisfy certain parties.

I am not going to apologies to anyone. I done what needed to be done. I am only human. There is limit for everything. I am tired of thinking and analyzing what I did and what I have should have not done. I am pass that stage. I am emotionally drained. I have no more energy for this. I don't want to think that I am at fault all the time. Even if the whole world is blaming me, than I will take it as the rest of the world is screw up, not me!

I am at the edge or reasoning. I am have reached the limit for my patient. I only can pray for strength from God. There is no need to argue anymore!

i have gone bald.....again

It is my damn dandruff, it is getting worse! If I wear the jacket in office, it is just too embarrassing, if i wear black shirt, it is even more embarrassing.
The only solution is to go bald.

I like this look , regardless what other might say, but so far, I have been receiving good comments (like the receptionist in my office, this morning and my colleague I met downstairs) And my wife say, I look like Shamsheer Sidhu (here we go, again and again this name appearing in my blog) Damn you Shamseer!!! Ha ha ha

Anyway, I guess I am gonna stick to this style for some time...

Event Update: iiumengine 96-2000 Raya Gathering

Date: 26th Nov 2006
Venue: Guzz and Fad's Place
Time: Lunch onwards

Had Raya gathering for all my batch back from UIA. We organized a pot luck.

Since we are hosting this year, my wife did Spaghetti, ketupa
t, kuah kacang, Shepard Pie and apple crumble. Friends brought so much food as well. We end up with so many left overs (that we evenly tapau-ed for everyone) and we had 4 cakes as well!
My otherwise quite house, was lively. Almost all friends came with their kids (some even with maids).
We have grown. Some were the same as they left, some changed. But I noticed, most still grouping together with their former buddies. I am not judging anyone. I feel awkward too, at some point, when I started a conversation with few of former batch, then I realize that I wad never close to them, no wonder, I was unable to find a common topics to talk to. So me to, retreated to my former groups of friends. It is cool. No offense taken. And hope none were offended as well.
Overall, we had fun. Hopefully can do this every year. Hopefully next year I could visit them with my addition to family as well (If God Willing)

I am no superman.

So best ler kan, mesti seronok! Bayangkan ler, kat planet asal semua orang same jer power dia, tup tup hijrah planet lain, terus dapat super power!!! Sapa tak nak kan? As long as kita gunakan power kita untuk kebaikan penduduk planer tu (and untuk diri kita sendiri) kira ok ler.....

10 great things about my sis

3. Live up to her name and always Sabar (only recently, kalau dulu, kalau marah tu, jadi macam pompuan giler!)
4. Dulu masa aku darjah satu, lepas balik dari sekolah, dia tolong tanggalkan kasut and stokin aku.... terharu sungguh.
5. Sentiasa utamakan parents.
6. Suka buat lawak bodoh yang orang lain tak paham, tapi aku jer boleh paham.
7. Suka test result aku dari working out kat gym dengan suruh aku angkat barang-barang berat.
8. Dia mengaku yang dirinye famous dan ada ramai kawan masa kat kat sekolah and UPM hanya dengan satu sebab semata, iaitu mempunyai seorang abang yang hensem and macho!
9. Seorang ibu and isteri yang baik.

Ok, Saba, kau puas hati sekarang? so bila boleh amik kereta?

Kerana mulut badan binasa.

Flashback.
Somewhere around last week in my office........

My boss and colleagues were busy talking at one of my colleagues cubicle. I was passing tru that place and suddenly my boss asked:

Boss: Guzz what do you say about Karaoke?
Me: I don't mind, it's a great way to embarrass ourselves! (dgn muka selamber)
Boss: Wow, I like your attitude, (turning to other guys) look at Guzz, he is so 'sporting'.
Me: err err err ok... (no clues what's going on!)
Boss: Guzz, you ni betul ke or cakap jer lebih?
Me: Betul ler..........
Boss: Ha ha
Me: Ha ha

Maybe it is just an empty conversation to fill up free time, I continued to work (or pretended to be).

And then, 2 days later, I received an email from boss saying that there is a DeepaRaya function in office and there is a Karaoke session and every department have to send a representative! I panicked! OMG what have I done?!! Me and my big mouth! Now surely they all will be asking me to sing!

Then in the dept meeting thank God they all nominated another colleague who always sing out aloud wearing earphone. Thank Goodness, I am off the hook. My colleague nominated my name mentioning that I volunteered to embarrass myself before, but majority supported him! Ha ha....

But I felt bad, maybe my boss will think that I am cakap jer lebih but action is zero! hmmmmm Need to save my reputation, Don't want other to think that I talk empty without action!

The day come, the nominated colleague bailed out, saying no way he will sing. Boss already sang a song, no one in volunteered in the dept! Semangnat ke'department'an aku berkobar-kobar.
Again boss asked, you wanna give a try? Hmmm I asked another female colleague, Jom duet? She said ok, as long as I sing with her.

We were looking for come nice English duet song but find none! So she decide to sing solo and I had to keep to my promise to sing as well, and the boss keep on asking 'dah pilih lagu ker blom?'

So, there I was, finally infornt of others (thank Goodness not many stayed back for Karaoke session). I kept to my promise and successfully me'sumbang'kan lagu 'Seribu Tahun Tak Kan Mungkin by Bumiputra Rockers.

I'd made it, I kept to my promise and I finally EMBARRASS myself infront of the crowd and it felt good!!!!

Moral of the story: Jangan cakap besar and jangan menyampuk dalam conversation orang yang tak tau hujung pangkalnyer.........

Wake up and smell the roses...

My parents went overseas for holiday for one whole month. My parents, my sisters, their kids all of them went! Only me and younger sis left behind, cause we were financially challenged (to be politically correct) at the moment and also we were unable to get leave for one whole month. But, my parents being outstation, leaving my dad's car in my house, that is this whole entry all about. So me and my wife have each on car now to go to work (at least for one month).

Before this we have to rush to work since my wife have to clock in by 8am and she need to reach at least 15 min before so that she can walk all the way to her dept. So basically we were rushing every morning. Because of this also, I will be among the first to arrive in my office at 8am! Since my work starts at 830 and it is flexible, nobody will be at the office at 8 am. Some stretch their arrival up to 930, but I always make sure to arrive before 9.

So now life is good. My wife left early, I wake up on my own sweet time, I know she hates me seeing me in my beauty slumber while she rushing dressing up, but I enjoy this moment as next month this luxury wont be here for me. I wake up, dress up, fix my self nice breakfast. I am a big breakfast guy. I believe that big bang breakfast is essential for everyone, it keep your entire day's mode in high spirit/energy. I can quietly sit down, have my coffee, and eat cereal, oats, eggs or sausage (depend on what is available in fridge) A newspaper would be nice, but darn, I don't subscribe to those.

Then, once outside, I will check put all my plants, squatting by the plants, zooming on freshly bloomed flowers, looking at those tiny butterflies flying around. Will water the plants if i find it too dry!
And sometimes the neighbors maids will pass by my house while walking with the babies, like today, the opposite house neighbor was walking with her grandchild, that cute girl was keep on waving at me, I took my own sweet time to smile and wave back, should have started a little conversation, maybe next time.

And after work, I can go to gym, that is enough for me to release a day worth of stress. Reach home to find the dinner is served nicely on the table. What else could I ask for? ( Gud Guy: I guess my arus perdana in a calmer stream now)

Such simple thing sounds like a fairytale isn't it? Happiness doesn't have to be living in a million dollar bungalow, fat bank account or owning hot wheels. It can be as simple as appreciating our every fine happy moments. So, you see, life isn't all that bad. if we are not rushing in life, slow down our pace, it is quite beautiful isn't it?

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids
on a merry-go-round
Or listened to the rain
slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Do you run through each day on the fly
When you ask "How are you?"
do you hear the reply?

When the day is done,
do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
running through your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
'Cause you never had time
to call and say "Hi"?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away...

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Welcome to the gym and please leave your ego at the door step.

The biggest misconception in weight training is that the heavier the weight you lift, more muscle you will build. This is not entirely true.

The heaviest weight you can lift while maintaining the perfect form, now that will give you the maximum result.

After being absent from gym almost 3 months, my strength dropped, If last time I can bench press 5o-60kg, now I have to reduce it to, 40kg, same goes to my bicep curls and the rest.

It is difficult to start back from scratch, I tried with all my might to lift the same weight like before, and I could life it, but my form sucked! It wasn't symmetrical and I am unable to balanced it.

I have seen many guys in gym struggling with too heavy weights thinking they are doing the right thing and also because they can't let go of their ego while lifting. I am not surprised, I was on of them, most guys think the amount of weight they lift is directly proportional to the size of their dick! Thus we have all this guys working out with heavy weight with terrible forms.

Another mistake I often see is that the tempo is too fast, they will be doing bicep curl up and down so rapidly with no pause at all. This is often done by newbies who think the faster the repetition more macho they are. This is not going to build muscle either, while doing repetition too rapidly, you are just using the momentum of the weight rather than the power of your muscle! The slo-mo works the best! Do it slowly, 10 repetition of 3 sets works fine most of the time, but you can also try other methods such as drop-set, pyramid-set and many more. But always start with the basic.

So my advice to anyone read this, it is not the amount of weight you lift or how rapid is your tempo, it is in the form, tempo and how you contract the muscle while lifting it.

And of course proper nutrition plays a bigger role in building muscle, it is 70% and 30% exercise. More on this later.

Love lets the beloved go free?

This was a debate title for English's debate when I was in form 5. I wasn't in the debate team, I was just one of the members of the floor. The point of argument was simple, from the perspective of a 17//18 years old students. If you love someone or something, you need to let that someone or something go. That was simple. The students debated that if you love your pet, you should let the pet go free, if you love you kids, have to let them go free and the opposing team came up with some nice good arguments as well.I am not going to discuss about the debate here. It was interesting, but sadly the debate did not go any deeper than that. Most points were touched at the surface only never too deep. Now when I think of it, its makes more sense to me. And also I realize that my friends back in 1993 (yes, I am old) were looking at the debate title from different (even wrong?) point of view.

I am married. I love my wife. Does this mean that I need let my wife go free? Or my wife loves me, so probably she will let me go free? (hmmmmm would she? most probably! ha ha) Doesn't make sense right?

After married for 4 years, it makes more sense to me know. When we love someone, we need to let go of the control we have on them to go free, NOT to let them go free. I am not talking about possessive psychos we sometimes see in TV, they really need to see a shrink. After being in a relationship for a long period of time, we tend to take control of our loved one sub-consciously. We start making plans without consulting them, we start to assuming things. We start to make decision on their behalf thinking that we are making the right decision for their own good. We start to take control of their life indirectly. Thus, we are not giving the freedom to run their own life. And due to this kinda restriction in freedom, stress will start to build up in the relationship, with either party not knowing the root of the problem since both party also try to take control of each other's life! Then one day...boom! volcano will erupt! When both parties can't take it any longer.

We are not letting our loved one free to decide! If we love someone, we need to let them go free! Not physically but the emotional control we posses over them!

I know, I know, many will say, you been married for 4 years and only now you know this? But relationship is tricky subject, you can't really measure the maturity/stability of a relationship by the number of years. There is no measure actually, it always evolved from one form to another.

So I guess, I need to practice what I preach, and letting go my loved one... ( I mean the control)

Just my 2-cents worth...........

Back in Gym

Finally I can go to gym regularly, at least 3 times a week, after work. I know many will find this weird, but the the whole day yesterday I was so excited that I could go to gym after work. It is like I am back to my routines.
It is funny that after missing the gym for 2 months , I lost track on my workout routines, previously it was hard-coded to my brain, once I am in GYM, I am on auto pilot, I don't have to think, I just carry on from one workout to another.

The after-work crowd in FF SJ was unbelievable, even on heavy rain day! But most of them were doing cardio, so the free weight area was not occupied that much. I had a good workout and enjoyed myself.

But I still miss the FF in Manulife, alot more equipments there and it is much bigger, even on very crowded day, you can still workout comfortably.

I am serious this time, no matter what, I want to achieve the following target:
  • Six pack (in 6 month)
  • Vein popping out in bicep (in 3 month)
  • Body fat percentage less than 10% (in 6 month)

This is my routine:
Mon:
Chest
Triceps
Shoulder

Wed:
Back
Biceps
Legs

Fri:
Abdomen
Forearm
And maybe Chest again

Valid Questions?

While driving to work this morning I was wondering.

I am driving this car. I have full control of this car, I can stop the car anytime I want, I can just turn the steering and change my destination. The car will obey me. I am the master of my car. If I maintain the car well, it will last long and serves every one of biddings. And yes, I have full control of it.

But if my life is the car, who is sitting on the driver seat? Who is driving my life? Is it me on the driving seat? Am I 'driving' my life. Taking the full control 0f my destiny?

For some, the answer to these questions might be obvious, but not for me. I am not sitting on that driver seat. I feel out of control. I feel I am just a dry leaf on a stream. Drifting with the flow of the water. I feel I have no control of my destination. I couldn't even do 'maintenance' of my life to ensure that it will run smoothly, and some time I even feel it is not even my car! Am I not in even in my car?! no wonder there is different driver sitting on the driver seat!

I am confuse! I thought with age comes wisdom, but I seems to more clueless now. My vision is blurred, I have no aim. I feel my life is pretty fucked up. Sometimes I just shut off my brain, my thoughts, just living the life for its very moment, not to think of future or the past, stop over-thinking everything, and I always failed.

I know I must be my own driver, I ought to be sitting on that driver seat and on the driver seat on MY OWN car.

What should I do, where do I start?

DON

This is the third time I am watching Hindi movie in Cinema, 1st on was Hum Aapne Ee Kon (wrong spelling), I was accompanying my sisters for this 4 hour movie, 2nd was Rain Coat, my choice, just because Aishwarya in it and got all the cursing in the world from wife because it was not an ordinary song and dance Bollywood flick. And the latest was DON.

Wow! This movie is GOOD! Action packed, and was not a love story (thank God!)
Shoot entirely in Malaysia..... Can see few Malaysian actors showing their 'talent' as movie prop, Shahrudin Thambi as mute police inspector ( I think since he has nothing much to say) and Shamseer Sidhu as Don's gang member (why his name keep on appearing in my blog?).

I have to say that they have portrayed Malaysia as a well developed country, but all the scenes seem to be revolving around Petronas Twin Tower. A lot of Proton cars were smashed (proton is one of the sponsor).

The story has a twist in twist. I don't want to elaborate, it will spoil the surprise. Priyanka Chopra was really hot and her acting was good. Even I hate SRK, have to admit that he had played the character rather well.

I recommend this movie to patriotic Malaysians who want to see how Malaysia is portrayed in Bollywood flick.

I always wonder, outsiders can always manage to make full use of Malaysian scenery in filming, while Malaysia director always end up shooting crappy scenes.

Pelita raya di rumah baru aku

Aku ni memang rajin pasang pelita masa nak raya. Kira banyak gak ler perabis duit beli minyak api, pelita and lampu kelip2 tu.
Kalau selama ni rumah parents and parents in law jadi 'mangsa' aku, sekarang rumah sendiri jadi mangsa.

Pokok buloh yang aku tanam hari tu jadi mangsa terbaru, lepas pasang rasa teramat ler cantiknye pokok buluh tu (pada pendapat aku ler).

Since handphone aku resolutionnyer rendah, gambar ni tak seberapa clear.

Kalau sesapa nak kusutkan fikiran aku kata ini budaya hindu, bukan ajaran Islam, I don't give a damn. Aku pasang pelita and lampu tu sebab nak memeriahkan suasana hari raya dan bende tu memang nampak festive, takder niat lain selain tu. Please stop complicating my already complicated life.

Pre Raya entry.

I am so excited! and it is an understatement! Feel like a small kid waiting for raya. Been listening to raya song whole day in the office. It really get me into raya mood, and there are few songs that makes me wanna cry, I always wonder why Raya song make me feel so sad and happy at the same time?
Go here to download Raya songs and other retro malay songs!

p/s: Suara Takbir nyayian Datin Siti memang best, mungkinkah aku akan jadi peminat dia lepas ni?

Confession of a Supposed Former Caffeine Junkie

The one thing I missed most during Ramadan would be Coffee or more precisely caffeine, the elixir of life, fuel for my productivity, pure liquid gold, ahhh the drop of heaven in my mug on my office desk.

Coffee ohhh coffee.... How much I miss thou!
I can take the hunger, the thirst and even the unnatural bowel movement during Ramadan, and off course I love Ramadan, I can feel my body cleansing itself and also detoxifying. But I need my daily dosage of caffeine every morning! I am feeling like am a Zombie!

Being being a caffeine junkie I am, I am missing that little push to perk up my mornings and the rest of my days.

Oh God, give me strength to go through 2 more weeks without coffee..

I hate shopping

I hate shopping and it is an understatement! I loathe it! And it is a Raya shopping on a fasting month, you might as well double or tripple the hatrate! That pretty much sum up my experience yesterday. Masjid India and SOGO was so packed due to public holiday in Selangor, the road was jammed, there we no parking and I was damn cranky! (I am always when I am hungry or tired).

Spent about 2 hour in Jalan Masjid India, bought most of the stuffs. With both of hour hands full of shopping bags, then we moved on to SOGO. The crowd there was unbearable! It is like they were on steroids! The queue at the counter was scary, if you grabbed just one or two RM10 item, it is not worth it to queue that long!

My wife has all the patience and passion when it comes to shopping. She would spend endless hour choosing very item inspecting every single details, but even she lost her mood to shop yesterday. After spending about 2 hour in SOGO, we left the building just with a plastic bag filled with a pair of shoe!

Wife hinted that we might need to go shopping again since she was unbale to get few things. I had a sleepless night last night thinking about it.

And found the following in my inbox this morning, but is was bit too late, maybe I can use this for next year.......

Chau....

TIPS MENEMANI ISTERI BERSHOPPING SEMPENA HARI RAYA

Paling kurang, tidaklah terlepas pahala puasa kita kerana asyik geram marah padanya semasa shopping tu.

1. Niatkan untuk menghiburkan dia semasa shopping. Jika dia terhibur,
menghiburkannya kerana Allah Taala".

dia sendirian sambil kita pula merayau kedai lain
.

6. Kalau dia meminta "second opinion" dengan kata-katanya, "Abang, cantik tak
kain ni untuk saya"... ? berilah pandangan dengan kata-kata, "Pada
pandangan abang ... .." Jangan terus kata, "OK" .. Lawa.. kemudian
senyap.

7. Kalau dia minta pandangan mengenai sesuatu barang yang dia nak
beli, jangan terus membelek tanda harga. Ini mengecewakannya. Berilah
dulu pandangan kita dari sudut nilai astetiknya. Sebab faktor harga
adalah penilaian terakhir bari mereka. Mereka sanggup berbelanja
lebih jika barangan it u memenuhi keperluan dan kehendak mereka.

8. Mata tu jangan terlampau sangat menjeling wanita-wanita lain yang
sedang shopping.
Dia nampak tau. Tapi kita dibolehkan mengusik

Musim Hujan
Musim ni bergantung pada kedudukan geografi, pantai timur or pantai laut.

Musim Banjir Kilat
Berlainan sikit ngan musim hujan, musim banjir ni tetiba terjadi.

Musim Jerebu
Musim ni bergantung pada bila Pemilik Estate kat Sumatera nak bakar hutan untuk aktiviti pertanian mereka. Biasanye pada musim ni, rakyat Malaysia akan digalakkan buat aktiviti indoor sahaja, ala ala winter kat Europe tu. Pada musim ni jugak penjual mask mengaut keuntungan lumayan.

Aiman tak kisah..........

Aku memang dah takder ide nak blog apa dah. Tak macam si Panjang tu, internet line down pun boleh dijadikan satu entry! keh keh...
Tengok blog aku dah macam terbengkalai sejak puasa start ni, rasa bersalah teramat sangat.
Anyway, nak dijadikan citer, aku rasa kalau sesapa selalu dengar Sinar FM, Mesti dah tau pasal iklan "Aiman tak kisah ni".
Harap harap, they will come up with better idea.
Ahh lantak le, Aiman tak kisah!

MyDin

Sabtu hari tu, aku and wife gi MyDin yang baru bukak kat USJ tu, (betul-betul sebelah Giant). Memang crowded sangat tempat tu jadinya. Giant, yang dah sedia ada parking space yang banyak, siap letak sign board, kalau shopping kat Giant, free parking, kalau shopping kat tempat lain kena bayar RM10. Maiden pun satu, buat bangunan besar-sebar, tapi buat parking basement satu level jer. So terpaksa aku memarking kereta jauh-jauh dekat kawasan kedai/rumah tu.
Siap ada kaunter minyak attar and so on.
Wet market dia pun aku rasa more fresher than other hyper. Barang murah, hopefully dia tak letak harga murah, for opening week and naikkan after that. Jam dinding dia murah gie, semua dalam RM20, cantik2 lak tu. Stationery section dia memang besar, boleh dapatkan apa ap jer.
Kain baju pun banyak variety, kalau nak shopping raya kat situ pun boleh. Rasanye lepas ni, MyDin ni jadi port terbaru aku kot. Satu je masalah dia, PARKING.
Panjang tul aku memuji MyDin ni, kalau dia quoye blog aku dalam leaflet dia kan best!

Tragic Story

We had fire drill excises today, the Cyberjaya Bomba came and gave briefing. We had then, the fire drill. The alarm rang, everyone took their own sweet time "rescuing" themselves from the fire, locking the drawer, chit chatting all the way to the 'safe' area.

Fireman then start doing the demonstration. Normal stuff, selected ones were asked to distinguish the fire. Everybody clapped once the fire was out, big deal. Then the firemen will ignite the barrel filled with petrol again so that he next person can practice. This cycle continued few time ...... Until............ jeng jeng jeng.............

THE FIREMAN CAUGHT FIRE! Yes! You heard me right. One of the fireman who was trying to ignite the half barrel of petrol suddenly caught fire. And flame were coming from his face (too much after shave?) He start running.. in panic, the crowd ( who thought this was part of demo) was stunned!

But thank goodness, he was ok. Nothing happened. Can see his hair was a bit whitish in color caused it was burned. Later I heard he was a new guy. No wonder.

Later all of us left the open field. Few continued on with the chat they left off, few were standing smoking cigarettes near the petrol filled barrel, chit chatting. Few went back to office to update their blog.

Sekian.

Mungkinkah.........

Link-link kat bawah ni dah jadi routine bagi aku every morning, kekadang baca sampai blog pun tak update, kekadang baca sampai kerja pun tak buat (tgk tu priority, blog dulu, lepas tu baru kerja...heheheh). Aku tengah risau fikir pasal masa depan Malaysia ni.....

  1. Mungkinkah Malaysia akan menjadi sebahagain SingaPork satu hari nanti?
  2. Mungkinkah kita semu kena migrate ke negara lain sebab kos sara diri semakin naik?
  3. Mungkinkah aku tak akan mampu lagi bayar duit rumah and kereta memandangkan kadar BLR and interest rate asyik menaik ni?
  4. Mungkinkah harga minyak akan cecah RM3 akhir tahun depan?
  5. Mungkinkah aku akan menjadi aktivis politik satu hari nanti?
  6. Mungkinkah aku bermimpi?
  7. Apakah jalan akan jam masa aku balik rumah nanti?
  8. Bulan puasa nanti sempat ke aku bukak puasa kat rumah, or kena buka puasa atas jalan?
  9. Bila aku nak buat shopping raya ni?
Soalan-soalan ni sering menghantui kepala otak aku akibat pergolakan politik dalam Malaysia ni....

p/s: Jangan pakai Internet Explorer 7 (nak tiru Mozilla konon). Tak guna betul asyik hang jer, baik pakai Mozilla Firefox, lagi stabil!

Let the truth be heard...........

He is just one man. What you so are so paranoid of? It is one ex PM against the whole cabinet.
Let him talk......
Let him be heard if you have nothing to hide.
Show that you are really telus.
For all he has done for our country, at least give him this much.....
To be heard....

no more hocus pocus....

Blogging has it benefits. My entries on my superstition has really opened my eyes. When I actually write it down, I could see the whole perspective and how stupid it is! If there were no blogs, this would have been imprisoned, suppressed inside of me.....now it out in open, it does not look so bad, infact it look rather trivial.

When I think about, it makes me think, why the hell I am being so superstitious all this while? What it got me? Where am I standing now, has anything to do with it?

I feel so stupid. From today onward, I am going to do eve
rything against my superstition. Today onward, I am not going to give a damn.

p/s: Today is 911 5th anniversary, world is at the even worse condition from where it started.....

Entry of a Broadband Jakun.

Streamyx is here, finally. Hard to believe but, yes, it is true. From my experience in dealing with TM services, I was only expecting it to be hmmm let say, maybe after Raya. But it is here, hard to believe.
I am sure I am one of the last to jump onto the Broadband bandwagon. Always wanted to, but there were no necessity for it. Been on dial up all this while whenever connected from home, quite pathetic am I not?
But gone were those days!
I was truly amazed at the speed, it was like, I clicked and voila, the page is opened, and downloading file seems quite fast too, maybe this is due to my fairly new neighborhood, not many connected yet.
But of cause it is not comparable to the 1GB line in office. And form now on , I can work form home If I choose to. Have connected to office through VPN, everything seems super fine.
I have heard endless complaints about Streamyx, I am sure my bubble will be burst sooner or later. Once my bubble is burst, they will be an entry all about my hate towards Streamyx, but for time being, I am all sold for Streamyx!

Tid bits of updates..........

Finally got my phone line installed on 29th August. I had to wait for almost a month. But thanks to me, the whole block phone line is ready now (heheh bangganye)

Right after I got my phone line, TM called me regarding Stremyx installation. Effecient-nya! Tak paham TM ni, most probably, the Streamyx agent is working in commissions, no wonder they speeding things up.

Finally hit the GYM after 1 month. I transferred my membership to FF Subang Jaya. This look smaller than John Hancock, but it has the basic equipment. My body still paining, since it has been long since I've lifted weight.
Funny thing happen there though. I found that my sport shoe was missing after I came back from my shower. Went to complaint at the front desk, they send a staff with me too look for my shoe, and we found it hidden in one of the empty locker. What kinda sick pervert will do that? I heard quite many complaints about things go missing in FF SJ. Need to be carefully. Definitely SHOULD NOT bring my lap top there!

My wife bought me a really cool leather jacket for me to wear in office (its too cold there). I am so happy and I think it look so cool! People been complimenting me in office. I kinda like it too...look macho sikit.

Parents arrived back from Umrah safely. Brought plenty of zam zam. Hopefully their doa dikabulkan this time and me and my wife will be blessed with child. Amin.

Security in numbers?

I was never really part of a big group as log as I can remember. In primary school, I was much of a loaner. Had no best friend. but loved to go to school and teachers loved me. Come to think of it I had pretty lousy childhood. I has only my friend outside school, we use to travel around the neighborhood, exploring every longkang, bushes and other dirty places. But no group! No football or any other group sports.

In Secondary, I had very few, but VERY close friends, which I still keep in touch till today; again I was not part of that big group. But then again, I guess, I was in the that popular group, whether I liked it or not. I was the head prefect for heaven sake ( My wife still cant believe it and always make fun of me, "head prefect apa yg perangai macam ni?" She will say if I tell her the stories of my mischievous self in school)

And in college, I was never part of the popular mainstream guys. I call them 'mainstream' because, they consider they represent the opinion of the whole batch, but in fact they are not. Mainstreams guys are normally popular among girls. Most probably had girlfriend from the 1st year in colleague, and rather active in all college activity (most probably to impress the gals)

Well again, I belonged to the 'minority'. We had our own weird stuffs to do, we never gave rat's ass about the mainstream guys' activity, and we find it boring. Most of us, didn't have any gf till toward the final year. We were comfortable talking in our own language (nerdy sci-fi talk), live in different world (probably in even in a galaxy far... far.... away).

I never had this longing to belong to a large group of people. I just don't function well when I am in a crowd. I prefer small close knitted group. I never felt that I must belong to a group for security reason. It most probably due to my 'I don't give a damn what you think about me' and "you can judge me all you want, but it doesn't effect me in any way' attitude.

Even after I entered working life, it hadn't changed. I never bothered about that popular bunch at office. I just 'hi and bye' them when I meet them. But eventually, the friendship grows, without being forced. Hi and bye become more sincere.

Ntah le, maybe I am weird. Belonging to a group of people is great achievement for some but not for me. Maybe I am really comfortable on my own skin and had enough self confidence to stand on my own that I don't have the need to be in a large social group to function.

I don't see myself as anti-social, I just need time to let the friendship to grow. I don't force my self into a '"well established ecosystem", I let myself to adapt to the new habitat before becoming part of that ecosystem.

Over and out!

Perkara-perkara yang buat aku konpius pasal rakyat Malaysia.

  1. Ex tunang Mawi (apa nama dia? Diana?) akan merakamkan album sempena Aidilfitri. Dah tak cukup artis ke kat Malaysia ni?
  2. RTM, Astro tolong pulihkan hubungan Ina-Mawi malam ini. No Komen le, malas dah nak cakap apa2.
  3. Aku baca dalam Warta Perdana, para ulama Malaysia meramalkan Dato' K and CT akan melangsungkan malam pertama malam khamis ni, sebab Dato K adalah orang yang kuat agama. Perlukah, kita speculate bende ni semua, walaupun hanya dalam tabloid?

Anyway, I am still proud to be Malaysian.

Selamat Merdeka to all.......

Entry orang boring takder kerja..........

Burung.

Sejak first day in CyberJaya, aku dah perasan. Memang banyak burung ni kat sini. Ntah kenapa.

Biasanya kalau banyak gagak, maksudnye, kawasan tu kotor, banyak sampah sarap.

Tapi Cyber ni aku tengok bersih jer.....

Tak tau kenapa banyak gagak kat sini.
Pelik tul lah.

Landscape.

Akhirnye aku dah start buat garden depan rumah aku tu. Sebelum masuk kerja Cyber ni aku ada cuti 4 hari.

So aku 'shopping' sakan kat Sungai Buluh, beli pokok bunga.

Konon nak buat Japanese conceptnye garden, ada pokok buluh dan sebagainye, tapi aku rasa bila dah siap nanti, Nampak macam konsep Bali lak.

Lantak le, asalkan cantik.

Jealous gak tengok Jiran aku tu, siap upah Landscapper untuk taman dia, siap dengan fountain, palm trees and so on. Loaded tul mamat tu, siap ada BMW lagi, padahal sebaya aku jer, belajar sesame kat Kolej Mara Banting dulu, camner depa boleh kaya and aku ni biasa2 jer?...... arghhh Alhamdulillah je la ngan apa yang aku ada sekarang ni....Buat tension jer fikir pasal duit ni.....

Kerja Baru.

Dah 3 minggu aku kat sini. Environment kat sini ok. Takder la aku nak komplen sangat. Aku takder team mate kat sini. Aku sorang jer buat backup untuk team ni kat Malaysia. The rest of the team kat US. Kira friendly gak orang2 US ni. Manager aku pun muda gile. Group email pun takder formal sangat. As long as got the message across, kira ok dah. Takder kena mengarang email panjang2, padahal simple matter jer (nak tunjuk kita ni rajin!) Benci aku baca email berpusing2 ni.

CT

Aku 'tertengok' acara pernikahan masa wife aku tengok rancangan ulangan hari tu. Aku tengok CT and keluarga dia nangis2. Rasa cian lak aku kutuk2 dia selama ni.

Harap dia bahagia ke anak cucu.
