TM suck big time!!!!

I am really pissed off with TM (Net, point... what the f*&*ing different?).

I apply for a phone line months ago. Until now, there is no update and there is no follow-up.

At first, they said, no physical line from the DB to my house, so they arranged the contractor to come and fix it. And this was done 2 weeks ago. But now every time I called, they are clueless what's going on. They said my house phone line is not captured in the system. The helpdesk girl gave me the contractor phone line for me to follow up? WTF? Isn't that their problem? Why the hell I should liaise with their contractor? Is this how they do work? Why should I waste my hand phone bill calling the contractor, while they the one should follow up and update me the issue!!!!

It is unbelievable!!! If this were Maxis I'll be getting excellent customer service, they call, SMS on every update!

I am really disappointed with the service! It seems the only changed the physical appearance of the service (new bright orange uniform, building) but service still sucks.

Sorry.... I am really pissed off!

I am having online training with US next week onward, and just because I have no internet connection at home, I have drive all the way to CyberJaya middle of the night for the training!..... Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Royal Guards......

I am getting rather uncomfortable with the guards in this building. Not because they are so bad or irritating or such.

It is because they are so damn good!

Every morning, when I arrive to office, the guard in the main door at the lobby will open the door for me and say good morning (with smiley face), together with the army salute.

Then to the door to my office in 3rd floor, same thing happen, I touch the access card to the reader, and they will open the door for me, salute and say good morning.

Ok fine, so far so good.

But, same thing happen whenever I go out of the office floor, to men's room, to lunch, every time they will wish, salute, smile and open the door.

I feel like I am troubling them so much, because I go to men's room too often (I drink a lot of plain water). It is like, man.... Imagine this is just the salute they're giving to me alone; imagine how many people working in this building?!!! Isn't it tiring?

These are non-local guards, all of them from Nepal (the Gurkhas). If it was a local guard, I guess, it would be a fat chance they will lift their finger to open the door or even giving a friendly nod!

P/s: this entry obviously has no motive or moral value we can learn........

They should be dressed like this, Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guard......

Somebody please stop this madness.............

DK, CT and TZ, has become quite a famous acronyms for Malaysians all of sudden. I know, there have been countless blogs entries either condemning the lavish wedding or the one really supporting the wedding.

I, off course, all against this stupid @#*&$# wedding! WTF?

I am too mad to compose a proper sentences and paragraph, so, here in point form.

1. Do they really need to call for a press conference EVERY time new rumors surfaces? Why the being so paranoid, that they want to deny all allegations?

2. Does the press really have to print their news in front-page? Does Malaysian intelligent level hit the rock bottom? There we are, early in the morning with cup of coffee, ready to sit down with newspaper, and there goes, right in the front-page, story about DK and CT, yuck! Spoil my whole day.

3. Does the cabinet really have to discuss this in Dewan Rakyat? Of course the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, has a point, why TV3 should telecast the wedding of a man who left his wife and children to marry a younger girl. To of all single mothers out there, whose the husbands left them for younger girl, please do something about this. Is this the example we want to set to our children? And please DO NOT CANCEL ANY OF OUR FAV SHOW JUST FOR THE WEDDING!!!!

4. Please do not bombard us about the every stupid detail of the wedding we DO NOT care. I don't care if you want to be paraded around KLCC in kereta lembu, or in beca or on the back of a camel. Please don't start closing all the main road around KL just for the wedding, there are 'real' people out there who need to beat the rush traffic hour to go to work. Please be considerate.

5. And please, for goodness sake, do not bring out the family argument about the actual amount of hantaran money in the press. It is embarrassing!

6. And I don't understand how some people can boost around saying that everything for the wedding is sponsored? Is that something to be proud of? The rest of us used our hard earned cash form saving for the wedding, it was more meaningful, even if the wedding was not that grand. Ni tak, siap buat statement who sponsored what, siap with the pricing lagi, if it was me, I would be really embarrassed!

7. My last point is, is that necessary to spend RM4m for wedding, just because you have the money (even more than half of it was sponsored) I mean, imagine what kind of charity can be done with RM4m:

· Help the poor
· Give scholarship for poor children
· Donate to orphanage.
· Help people in war strike nations.
· Help develop young entrepreneurs.
· And much more.......

The only acronym that bring smile to my smile lately is PCD, THEY ARE HOT!

Most satisfying haircut

It would be a rare occasion if I could drive home fully satisfied after each hair-cut session. Normally, I would be driving back cursing the barber. He cut too short, not even, didn't cut in the style I asked, too rough and such. Most of them will nod their head at the beginning when I describe the way my hair should be cut, but at the middle of the session, all hell will break loose.

But last night, the hair cut I had was PERFECT! It was just the way I wanted it. My favorite type is the square/box type. Since my hair is stubborn and wavy, there is not much variation can be done. Cutting close like the crew cut work best for me.

Even I have moved to Shah Alam 6 month ago, all this while I was going to the barber in SS3 PJ, the one I've frequenting for the past 4 yrs. This barber shop is ok, but they change the barber so often that you wont get the same haircut every time you go, and they chare between RM9-11. So since I am already a Shah Alam resident, it is time for me to join the S.Alam 'jemaah'.

Last night went to this shop, in Seks U9 (not so sure which section), Pusat Perdagangan Subang Permai, Shah Alam. A small Indian Shop. Nothing fancy, only two cutting chairs. I told him, I want the square cut. He nodded knowingly (I thought, here goes again, another disastrous bad hair day for the entire month of August). I sat down, prepared for the worse. Then he started. He really took his time; he was gentle and knows what he was doing. The end result was totally amazing!!! I loved it. This is the barber I am going to after this. PERIOD!

The cream on top of the cake is he gave this neck massage at the end, that really was relieving and the cherry on top was, it cost only RM8!

Unix

Can't believe that I need to learn UNIX.

UNIX and I mix well like onion and chocolates ice cream (to borrow Simon's quote from American Idol).

In a way I am glad, that finally I could learn something new. But I am already a 'dinosaur' in Windows, a hard core window platform guy.

Even during the interview I have mentioned this, that my knowledge in UNIX is almost non existence, but they said its ok, it can be learned.

Since there are mostly using GUI through the reflections X, usage of UNIX command is minimal.

How I am feeling? I am quite excited actually, to be able to learn new technology. Hopefully my brain will absorb them up like sponge.

On Superstitious..........

I never confess this to anyone, or even said it out aloud when I am all alone. But I am. I am superstitious. I guess it all started when I was very young, most probably when I was in primary school, Why I become superstitious, I can't answer that, but I can remember the beginning...

All my life I have been a worrier, I worry about almost everything, mostly about my school, exam, my extra-curricular activities and mostly my family.

It is very silly though, I don't know who gave me the idea, but I made up a lot of superstitious believes as I grow up. It just I fear if I stop doing it, something bad will happen to me or to people around me.

It is sickening, I felt my life was constrained, there were no freedom, I know and felt that I am weird than the rest, but I couldn't help it. When I think back I feel stupid on how silly I have been, but when I think even deeply, I realize that I am still the same person.

What kinda superstition you ask? Well, if you think of voodoo doll and animal scarify, you are wrong. It was far less complicated but much more idiotic! Gosh! What kind a miserable childhood I had!

Hmm will I ever change? I guess not, one thing I realize is that we really can't change the way we are, maybe we gave the perception to the surrounding people that we have changed so much, but it is mostly on how we carry ourselves and communicate. Deep inside, we are still the same child we were. Did I say 'we', well change it to 'I', this is my personal opinion, I don't this any two people are alike.

Again...What kinda superstition you ask? Well it is too silly and embarrassing to write. It is only for me to know and for you to never find out.

Hola form cyberjaya...

Finally I am here, well actually at has been 3 days already, but only now got the time to blog.

Well, I feel renewed, you know when you go to a new place and everything look brand new in a blurry kind a way. People you meet seem so friendly and nice (just because we have not passed any judgment on them yet, vice versa).

Compared to HP, this is much more small and close knitted community. Everybody knows each other. Office environment seemed laid back, no stress on the air (yet?)

Well, I would say, I am happy here, at this moment, but again, it is always too early to say.

The team I am joining is new, so I am the only one in the team. I am reporting to a manager in The US of A. He called me just now and had a long conversation with him. He seems very friendly and sound so young. He said not to worry, he asked to shadow my colleagues in US for few months before I can handle the cases on my own.. Few months? Well thank goodness, at least I have the time to catch up on my technical stuffs. Since been ATL in HP, my technical know how has rather been rusty.

On other note, not having to be crushed into the Komuter is big relief. And after almost 2 years, the car is MINE again! Ha ha, I am so happy.

I am also happy that they providing me with my own notebook! This mean that I don't have to buy a PC on my own.

Ok, will update more later on!

Next entry: something to do with bakery! Watch out!

My Last entry in HP...

Today is the day, my last day in HP.
Colleagues throw a farewell party for me and another guys who is leaving yesterday after work. Just ordered pizza, nothing formal. When my time to give speech, I felt overwhelmed, rasa sebak, felt sad, but life goes on...
Gave speech about normal stuffs, since those who attended are new guys, just informed them about how they can develop themselves here and a bit of my experience here, what I have learnt and bla bla...

Not sure when my next entry would be, will I be too occupied with work till no time to blog and YM? or I'll b hanging on YM all the time? Hope there is a middle ground.

LOST.
Watched the season 2 finale last nite, those LOST writers are really mentally sick twisted freaks............ and genius!!! It just amazing how the interconnect one event to another and how is everyone in the island is connected to one another before they crashed! Can't wait for season 3!!!

GYM.
Froze my membership for a month and transferred the membership from Manulife to Subang Jaya. It is nearest to home. About they are charging RM95 for admin for that!!! WTF?
I had no choice. Paid the damn money at the end.

How is life after this going to be? I am nervous.... but excited as well, new place, new environment, maybe my life would not be that boring after all, or at least for a while....

I am out of here!

Celebrity Sightings (part ii)

It is official, when it comes to celebrities, I become a Jakun! (Part I here)

It seems that, Sarimah (a VJ) studying in Help Institutes and regularly frequents the San Francisco Cafe in HP Towers.

I seldom eat there, my first time wan on my first day in HP (because I didn't realize that there is stall at the back), second time was during fasting month, I didn't realize the time was up for buka puasa, and third time is for the farewell lunch thrown by my team lead, Edward joined by Christina.

Well, back to story, we were enjoying our lunch and suddenly Sarimah entered. I got excited, my facial expression changed, I tried to control my facial muscle, but unsuccessful. It showed, that I am a jakun when it comes to seeing celebrities in real life.

Throughout the lunch I can keep my eyes of Sarimah.... Why? is she that pretty? no so...... just so so only. But just for the one reason, that she is a celebrity! (she is not that famous anyway).

Then I heard something really interesting from Christina. During HP annual dinner, Sarimah was there (no idea who invited her) and the funny thing was, she was handing out her business card for and promoting her as "certified English language teacher" !!!! I can't believe it!
Showbiz in Malaysia must be getting really slow, VJs are starting to give out English Tuition.

Sarimah wedding picture: Moga bahagia ke anak cucu....

Personal Note: Must stop acting like a Jakun in next celebrity sightings.

Apply Phone Line.

Punye le excited last friday, sebab nak apply phone line. Since my new company requires me to have Streamyx connection (which they will pay.......bestnye!), I kena la apply fixed line dulu.

So, I took half day, (ingat TM tutup on Sats), gi sana fill up the forms and all (kejap jer, effiecience gak TM ni) aku pun gi la ke counter.

Awek kat counter check punye check....lama aku tunggu, then dia cakap, maaf encik, rumah encik tak masuk line lagi, rumah numbor ganjil, belom masuk, rumah nombor genap jer masuk line dah....

Pelik kan, awek tu pun pelik, dia bagi reference number, so that I can follow up.

Macam2 le...........

Lagi pasal kerja baru............

Dalam aku sibuk-sibuk dengan kerja baru, Alhamulillah, bini aku pun dapat kerja baru gak,
di sebuah syarikat pengeluaran kereta nasional yang terletak di Shah Alam (macam le susah sgt nak teka).

Anyway, aku rasa happy sangat sebab dia rasa happy sangat, lagi pun dah lama sangat dia nak tukar kerja, jerja sekarang ni sejak fresh grad sampai sekarang, almost 6 tahun, tapi gaji camtu jer, benefit tak seberapa and tak pernah merasa bonus, memang frust le.

But now, hopefully she will happy to go to work, but knowing my wife, she start worrying about the new job, what if this, what if that?
Once she is is she would be ok I guess.

Hmm most probably, both of us akan ke kerja baru next month around same time. Have reschedule everything; travel arrangment; makan arrangment; and ntah apa-apa lagi hidden issues that will arise.

Cyberjaya..... here I come!

Alhamdulillah, at last I got the offer letter I have been waiting for. Eventhough I didn't get the salary I asked for, but considering other benefits offered, I think this new company, has a good plan/package for the employees.

My team lead was shocked and sad when I break him the news. But he said, he respect my decision, as I need to think of my life, family and future.

This is the most difficult career choice I have made so far. When I resign form the previous job, I was overjoyed, cause I HATED it there.
Now is different story altogether. I really like it here, and I was just promoted last month to assistant Team Lead. I am really comfortable here (am in comfort zone now, more reason to leave?)
Very sad to leave, really, I meant what I wrote in the resignation I tendered (even it was a template I downloaded from net).

The job I am going to is really technical, I am going as DTS (deep technical support) as Netbackup Administrator, my job scope is really getting deeeepppppp.

In old company, I did EVERYTHING, yes including the dreaded setting up projector (to Gud Guy), here, I am more specialized, in Windows/Exchange/Backup Administration.
New company, I am specializing in Backup alone. Look like I am heading somewhere, though backup is not my cup of cake, but people force me to eat it, I will, gladly.

So, I can only Tawakal that I am choosing the right path. It is a whole new environment. Hope I can adjust my self there and I am hoping that there is a career growth there.

I have to do this to stabilize my financial, I have not much choice.

I asked a friend of mine, would you leave the current position (as lead) and accept new offer with more pay, but just an normal engineer?
He said most probably not, MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING.

It is funny, If you asked a guy with money, he will say money isn't everything, and if you ask a guy struggling in life financially, he will say, MONEY IS EVERYTHING.
I guess this varies on which side of the line we are standing.

I just don't wanna think about this stuffs anymore, I am just doing what I think right at this moment of my life, for me and my family, the rest I leave to God.

GYM Comparison.....

While I was waiting for my wife to fetch me from Komuter SJ, I tool a walk to Subang Parade.

Hmmmm Celebrity Fitness?!!!! Should I?

I entered and talk to the consultant. He showed me around and explain what kinda packages they offer. Interesting..... cheaper than Fitness First. And their equipment are all new and look sophisticated. The membership consultant gave me 2 week free trial! Wow! So last Sat Morning I went for my first workout there and below are my findings (and comparison to FF)

PROs
1. The feature I like the most is they provide Towel service to all type of memberships, unlike FF!
2. All the equipment are facing the mirror, so we can watch our form while working out.
3. The free weight area is big! And they have plenty of benches.
4. They have 4 Smith Machine and all of them facing the mirror.
5. There is more weight variety in the dumbbell. And it is in the increment of 2.5 lb, unlike in FF which is in increment of 5.0lb. The dumbbell are the latest type, compact, so easier to lift.
6. There is a DJ in the house, so that the environment feel a bit lively, compared to FF which just play random songs.
7. The locker room is big, with many mirror and many hair dryer. There is guard on duty inside the locker room to guard our belongings.
8. The juice bar provide protein shakes! (off course not free la, have to pay)
9. They have many type of membership, the cheapest is RM77 per month. It is 24 month contract, you pay the lump sum of the 2 year fee in the 1st year, and you got 4 year membership (2 year free+2 year paid)
10. The trainers there look friendly. (too soon to judge)
11. Parking is free (if you park in Carrefour)
12. After training, can jalan-jalan and makan-makan in Subang Parade.

CONs

1. They don't provide free flow soft drink like in FF.
2. They don't provide plastics bags to put the wet clothes.
3. The locker don't have automated lock as in FF , we need to bring our own padlock.

So I guess, most probably I will join Celebrity Fitness and cancel with FF.
Anyway nanti dah tukar kerja, CF seems nearer to me.

P/s: been wondering, Am I a workout freak? But my body doesn't reflect that, am I just wasting my time?

Tuesday, June 20, 2006

I have decided...

If i stay here, I can brush up my management skills, and do not have to do technical stuffs, but the pay is low(er).
If I take the new offer, I will really go deep into technical (really specified) and the pay is higher.

The question:
Which one is important to me now?
Obviously, money!
If I am financially stable, I wont even bother applying to other places, but I really need to improve my financial.
I have no choice.
There is always doubt in me, whether I am making the right decisions.
What do you think guys, I badly need feedback in this!

Here I am again............

Here I am again, at the junction, I need to make a decision now. Which path to follow?

Hard decision, I think I am going crazy now.

Financially, I am a mess. I need to move on with my career.

Sometime I feel suffocated.

What if I took the wrong turn?

This is the moment where a simple phone call will change my life definitely....

Question is: for better or worse?

Great Expectations..........

A lot going through my mind. A lot of 'what if' questions. And then I'll start fantasizing that 'if' I have done that my life would have been like this or 'if' I can have this I could do that, and so on.

Sometimes I fantasize so detailed, that I actually felt the satisfaction of living that fantasy life. In the fact that I have an abundant time to do so doesn't help me with my problem.

Am I 'Mat Jenin', who lost out opportunity in life, while dreaming of the future that might or might not materialize?

Where is the 'big break' that everybody's talking about?

Ntah le.. Tension....

Yet another year...........

Yesterday was my birthday, yes.... but I don't try make make big fuss about it after I hit my 30s..... It is scary you know, to be in 30s, I don't know why, I am just feeling like there a lot more to accomplished in life and I am already in 30s.. sigh.... anyway, this entry is not about me pondering about meaning of life or my achievement in life (or lack of it), its about what my wife did for my birthday.

We agreed that, there would be no gift for my birthday this year since, my wife have partially chipped in for my new handphone. So nothing was planned, at most she said we go makan at Big Plate. OK la, fair enough, since I did nothing for my wife birthday this year cos we were busy moving to the new house that time.

She fetched me from work as usual yesterday, she said once reaching the house, go straight up to the room and get ready, we are going to Big Plate and DO NOT come down until I call you. So I just set in the room, prayed, dressed up nicely since we were going out and all. At about 745, my wife came up, she also got dressed, and then she blind folded me!!!! (How kinky.... keh keh keh)

She guided me down and sit me on the dinner table and untie my blindfold, And there in front of me was this....

this....

and this...........

A complete course of candle lite dinner! How romantic!

Lamb Chop

Coleslaw

Mashed Potato

Veggies

Sparkling Grape Juice

and Nachos as appetizer....

I was puzzled how she managed to cook all this in half an hour time?!!!!

Then my wife confessed that, she took half day yesterday, cooked and fetch me from work as usual......

I was speechless, this was the best surprised I had for my birthday ever...

Thanks so much dear, I really enjoyed the dinner!!!!

Thank you......Thank you......Thank you !!!!!!!!!

Syukur...........

Tak tau kenapa, kalau aku tengok orang tengah makan, especially, orang-orang kita ni tengah makan nasi, hati aku rasa sayu, rasa kesihan, rasa macam nak tengok jer orang tu makan sampai habis.

Kita rush2 bangun pagi, stuck in jam, sampai ke ofis tergopoh gapah, kena marah ngan boss, tension kerja, kekadang stress kerja bawak balik ke rumah sampai laki bini gaduh, habis tu rasa risau, kecewa sebab tak dapat promotion, jadi mangsa politik ofis (or join-in in gossipping) - Semua bende ni kita terpkasa buat untuk......... dapatkan sesuap nasi yang kita makan tu la.

So, from now on, masa makan, aku x nak rush-rush, duduk elok-elok, makan sepuasnye, susah payah kita kalau makan pun tak sempat apa guna kita kerja?

Its just Amazing isn't it?

Even we have lost hope and think that we messed our with oh life, big time!
and even when we think there is no more hope and that impossible life will take a turn to favor us,
and even when we think all the world has gone mad and people around us hate us,
and even when we think nothing left to fight for...

Our parents still sees us as they say us the day we were born, for them we are they baby, they shower us with endless love.....
They gave the simplest advice on most complicated problem in our life and IT MAKES SENSE, and IT IS THE PERFECT SOLUTION.

It is just amazing, maybe because I am not yet a dad, I am unable to imagine the love of a parents for their child, but seeing the love my parents give to all their children, I think there no love in the world greater than this.................

The problem is..............

The problem with me is, I wait for the instruction. I wait and I wait.

No... I am not lazy nor that I lack initiative, in fact I am dying to act on my instinct and logic, there is just too many things in my head that I want to execute, but I wait.

Once, I did that, I acted on my logic and instinct and took matters in my own hand. And what I got in the return? my ex-boss (read bitch) called me that I am 'big headed' and taking her job as the boss, bla bla bla.

I have to find a middle ground.

Celebrity Sighting

I was surprised to see Shamser Sidhu in Bukit Damansara Mosque last Friday.

For those who have no idea who he is, he is the Host for the Fear Factor Malaysia and also main person in Celcom adverts on TV and billboards.

Why I was Surprised?

Well, hmmmm first of all I wasn't sure he was a muslim, of course with name like that he probably a muslim, but then again he might no be one....
I was reading the Men's Health Magazine (baca free kat kedai) there is some comments he made about his lifestyle that made me belief that he wasn't a muslim.

Well, I was sitting at the back (my spot!) in the mosque, and suddenly he walked passed me, we went 2-3 shaf infront of me and start Solat Sunat!

I told my wife (she is a big fan of him) this and she said, "tak sangka pulak Shamser Sidhu tu praying type, tu la lain kali jangan buruk sangka kat orang!"

Anyway it was my mistake to be prejudice about others, jahat sungguh aku ni, macam le aku ni alim sangat!

Anyway, back to the Men's Health interview, this guy do have a good bod, guess need to fine tune my workouts to get body like his in ........... hmmm let say 2-3 months?!!!!!

Impossible? One will never know.

Dugaan demi dugaan...

Lost my phone on the bus yesterday on the way to Sentral.

Enough said.

Money again, last month and this month has been full of unexpected espenses.

1. New glasses.
2. Road tax and insurance
3. Lost handphone - need replacement.
4. Fuel price hike.
5. Income tax (thank God no taxable this year)
6. Need to change all 4 tires and do alignment, because tayar dah botak and alignment is BAD.
7. Might need to change the timing belt....

P/S: Change lifestyle my ass !!!
What to change in lifestyle if there is no 'life' and 'style' in the firts place.

I can't stand to fly

I'm just out to find
The better part of me

I'm more than a bird...i'm more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It's not easy to be me

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I'll never see

It may sound absurd...but don't be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed...but won't you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
It's not easy to be me

Up, up and away...away from me
It's all right...you can all sleep sound tonight
I'm not crazy...or anything...

I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
Men weren't meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I'm only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me
Inside of meInside me
Yeah, inside me
Inside of me

I'm only a man
In a funny red sheet
I'm only a man
Looking for a dream

I'm only a man
In a funny red sheet
And it’s not easy, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...Its not easy to be me

Life without Spectacles

I broke my specs few week ago, I accidentally sat on it! And because I am out of budget this month (I seems to be out of budget every month nowadays), I used the spare glasses I had, even the power is lower than my current glasses. And thanks to my carelessness and forgetfulness, the glasses is now somewhere in Surau in Giant Bukit Antarabangsa. Left it there when I was visiting Ustaz Luqman last Saturday.

Life is hell without glasses, I cant do look at the computer, I am having headache and nothing is get done!

Ordered a new one in Focus Point in Carrefour in SJ, the awek said, it will be ready on 2-3 days time, hopefully today it will be ready. I ordered thick rimmed 70s looking glasses. Wife and me had 'vigorous discussion' about my choice of glass, but that frame is the 'IN' thing now. Look kinda cool and fashionable. But most importantly it is tougher than the normal wire frame one. It cost me RM270++. (Look like I'll be out of budget in many many more months to come)

Every month money comes
and money goes
but the credit card balance
remain the same (if I am lucky.......)
but mostly
its keep on increasing every month...............

Bilalah loan kereta nak habis ni, can't wait for April next year...........

wearing the broken glasses for time being :(

Free Show........

While I was waiting for the feeder bus at the Sentral this morning, I saw a white guy was picking up his wife/gf/mistress from sentral. Look like the wife just came back form oversea trip. The lady was Asian (look like Malay and Chinese mix). When they meet, they had this longest French kiss I ever seen in public area in Malaysia.

They Kissed. Kissed and kissed even more. Then the guy practically lifted the lady and kissed and kisses again. After he put her luggages in the boot, the lady pull him back and they started again........ And all this while, rest of the people at that place just looking (or pretending not to look) But I selambe je tengok and smiling to myself.

Later at night I told my wife.

wife: bestye
me: Best apa, tak malu ker?
wife: dulu masa honeymoon dulu tak malu pulak.
me: that was in overseas, this is Malaysia.
wife: hmmm.............

Wife also always complains that I don't kiss her every morning after she drop me at the komuter station. She said, not fair, she only have to salam and kiss my hand while I don't kiss her back....
My response, is always the same.... 'malu' or 'segan' (but some time I do kiss her on forehead)

Any of you guys do this? Just wondering..........

"Selamat Pengantin Baru"

One of the thing that pisses me off at Fitness First is they don't provide Towel. Off course when you sign up, they give you small sweat towel. That's all.

I was delighted when I saw they stacked up lovely white towel at the counter last month. Finally! I can free up space in my work beg, towel really takes up alotta space. I was in ecstasy.

Me: Hi, may I have a towel?
Counter Gal: Are you a Gold member?
Me: No
Counter Gal: I am sorry sir, the towel is only for the Gold Members... But normal members still can take the towel, but we will charge you RM5.
Me: What the f*&k?!!! (off course I didn't say this, although felt like saying that, instead , I said)
Its ok then...thanks!

What the big deal about towels?! They don't loose any money pun, just send to laundry and use back only right!

Celebrity fitness is better (according to my bro in law who joined there recently) they give towel once you entered no matter what type of membership you hold and the membership fee is much cheaper!

So since most members are normal members, they bring their own towel, normally the plain white one, But, I don't want to do the 'normal' things, so I guess I am the only guy in the gym locker room wearing green towel with gold lettering that says "Selamat Pengantin Baru" hehehehhhe

Glemer jugak tu!

Emotional Creatures.........

Women are emotional creatures. This has been said to me many-many time by much wiser men. I have read it in many many books by many many famous scholars. Even in Islam, women are said not fit to be a leader due to this reason. But, the weird this was, I was skeptic about this, until recently.

All I can say is, do not bother to reason out with a women during 'that time of the month', you couldn't possible win. All logic and reason doesn't apply to them during this period. Any further argument will only worsen the situation, you might as well just agree to whatever is being argued, or just keep quiet and discuss the matter outside the period of "those days of the months". They will be more open to what you got to say that time.

I must say I am a slow learner, I have only learnt this after 4 years getting married.... Sigh..........

Say No To Gatsby Deodorant

X-Men United against Gatsby Deodorant!

Hereby, from today onward, I solemnly declare that I WILL NOT EVER use the GATSBY Deodorant ever!.

Have you guys watched the Gatsby deodorant on TV? I am sure anyone with the right mind would rush to the shop to get the deodorant.

I find the advertisement repulsive and disgusting. Not macho at all! Who are they targeting the advertisement at? School Kids? I am confused... Why a company spend so much money (and waste precious viewers' are time) to sabotage their own product! It is like they are advertising to convey the message to the men out they not to use their product!!!

The advertisement shows a dorky looking guy dancing with two bears/rabbit(not sure which animal) costume cladded guys. It is totally childish! It is like watching commercial for kids' toys!

P/S: Why I am so emotional? At least my wife agrees with me that that commercial is ridiculous, especially if it is targeted to male audience....

Mengurut..........

Last Saturday, went mengurut, actually for my wife, nak urut, bagi betulkan kedudukan rahim, but they also urut guys there, I also join la.

The pusat mengurut is in Selayang, but my wife went mengurut in one of the makcik house in that area, and I went to the Centre, the place quite big, 2 storeys, ada steam bath, ada doctor and all, they have about 20 rooms.

(apa le bahasa rojak ni, should stick to one...............)

One Indonesia guy (more like pakcik) messaged me. OMG, it was so painful! but I managed to keep quite, the pakcik said, "awak ni ok la boleh tahan sakit, kalau orang lain, dah menjerit2 dah". But only I knew how hard I tried to keep quiet!

As painful as it was, I didn't want the session to end, it was a pleasure to have someone attending your body, it was soothing, relaxing and painful at the same time.

Then the pakcik asked,
Urut Pakcik: 'Nak urut 'barang' tak, bagi power sikit, tapi kena bayar extra la, bayar kat kaunter bawah RM30'....
Me: Hmmm boleh jugak........RM20 tak leh ker...
Pakcik: Pusat mengurut ni bukan pakcik yang punye........
Me: Ok la...boleh la............

Then he urut the 'barang' as well la........ ( no further explanation required)

The whole session took about 1 hour. Full body message, it was good, he even managed to find out that there is urat tersimpul on behind of my neck ( I have been suffering with neck pain pass few weeks)

He said, my body a lot of angin, sebab duduk dalam air cond jer.....

The session was followed by 30 min of steam bath (with rempah ratus that I couldn't possibly know) It was refreshing (and suffocating) as well.

At the end, he said only can mandi after 3 hrs, so I put back my cloths, smelling like minyak urut, feeling sticky and left the place.

I recommend this to anyone, good place, very professionals, all the messieurs are Indonesia, very skilled. Whole body massage is RM60 about 45min-1 hour....

Be prepared to wake up next morning in agony of whole body pain though!

Can't belive they killed off Shanon!

1. LOST
I couldn't believe my eyes last nite when they killed off Shanon in 'Lost'. God! I was speechless, how can they do that. If they keep on killing everybody, who will survive at the end? And I really hate that the new survivors they found on the other end of the island, especially the though ass chick Ana. She is mean!

I really hope Shannon is not dead, maybe Jack can could help her to survive the wound.... or maybe the whole thing was Sayid's imagination (the island always play tricks on the survivors' mind anyway).Tension la. My friend told me he downloaded the entire season 2, and he said he can tell me the ending, NO THANKS! Don't ruin the suspenses or else I have nothing elso to look forward to every Monday.

2. DAGING MASAK KICAP.
Yesterday, after work, I masak, daging masak kicap, menjadi jugak, my wife said 'sedap giler', but then again, any food is sedap giler according to my wife ;)

3. GYM
Suppose to go gym yesterday, but woke up wrong side of the bed, neck paining, mum said need to jemur the pillow under the hot sun and beat the pillow. MAcam mana nak buat, awal pagi dah keluar remah, maghrib baru balik. Anyway, today must go, mana tau, kot kot terjumpa Sofea Jane ke (she really work out there, according to my fren)

Update: 3.03 pm !!!

Something interesting happened in the gym today. I was in sauna and there was another guy in there as well, we chit chat for a while......

Other Guy: How long did it take to get body like that?
Me: Like mine? banyak lemak lagi la (showing my stomach)
Other Guy: Mana ada, dah ok apa, the bottom of your tummy dah ada line, cantik kalau pakai jeans, tu yang mahal tu....
Me: ye ke...hehheh Thanks.... Kalau consistence 3-4 days per week, maybe dalam masa 3 bulan boleh dapat kot......
Other Guy: Ok .......

Hehehe I could not wipe out my grin from my face all the way to office.

Err.... Sorry for the confusion lady....

I was lucky to get a place to sit in Komuter this morning, I was very sleepy and felt weak because I just recovered from mild fever over the weekend. So.. I dozed off in Komuter for a while. Before reaching Kg Dato Harun, I woke up and saw a pregnant lady standing right infront of me, so despite being so sleepy I stood up and gave my place, the lady looked confused for a while and took my seat. I was thing what was that all about.

Then, while I was standing there, I realize that the lady wasn't pregnant but she just a bit oversized that she looked pregnant, I tried my best not to stare at the tummy. I really need to confirm if she is pregnant or not!

Reached Sentral, she got off, it is confirmed, she is not pregnant. She probably not even married. Ifelt bad, in cases like thie should I apologies? Or maybe she thought I was a gentleman kind enough to let a lady sit in a crowded train?

Econsave...........

The price war is going on in full swing. Everyday Tesco, Giant and Carrefour is claiming that they offer the chepest price in town. Carrefour started it by comparing it price with Giant (but without using the name 'Giant', but used the same font as Giant is printed).
After that Giant took another bold step by openly dispalying Carrefour logon in thier Shopping Cart comparison in thier hypermarket.
After that Tesco started to compare thier price with Giant and Carrefour!!! This is madness!
But after been to all 3 hypermarket, I consider Carrefour has the cheapest price!

But beware, there is a new player in the game and he is called ECONSAVE.
I bet bo one heard of this supermarket before, except those staying nearby Kampung Subang.
The store is very low profile, you woould not even notice that there is a supermarket if you drive by that road. Once you entered the store, you'd be surprised how crowded it is! And the price is much much more cheaper than all G, C and T !!!!

I hightly recomend this to all, at least give it a try, it is not as high class as the other 3 stores, but I can get all your groceries there.

Direction:
If you are driving from Shah Alam to Sg Buloh, at the Traffic light infront of Monterez Golf Club, turn right and drive straight, ECONSAVE is on your right.

Feel Good Time...........

I am so proud of myself. Even surprised myself, been going to gym daily. I decided that I should go to gym from Mon-Thurs during lunch time. Friday-Sunday is the rest day, need to give body to recuperate and muscle to repair.

The GYM pretty cool now. They replaced all the treadmill to the canggih one. And there a lot more machines added. Really glad signed up at Fitness First John Hancock.

Well.... to my surprised, when I was working on my shoulder last Tuesday, I noticed that the veins on my shoulder popped out!!! Wow, I was really glad, I always wanted the veins to show, but after the work out , it was not visible already. Nevertheless, I was happy, maybe I need to give it more time. Have to be patients.

Massive Shoulder ! (really nice if could get shoulder like this)

Nowadays, I am having kickass workout. Feel really energetic, mainly it is due to the new method I am trying. I am doing Cardio about 10-15 min (about 2km running) then followed by weight training. Since my body all warmed up from the cardio, I feel more energetic during weight training.

Today I really blasted by legs, tomorrow is the ouch day....going to really FEEL it tomorrow, but I enjoyed the pain anyway, it is called DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), it suppose to hurt the next day, it is caused by microscopic tears in your muscle fibers, and muscle tissues is rebuilding...to become stronger!

A New Hope?

Hope can be a dangerous thing. If you built youlife around it, it might consume you! But hope is what makes me go through my days. I realized that without hope we got no positive outlook on life. Hope just what hope is, it is the silver lining we see in every problem we faced, we hope that things will change for better, we hope that miracle will happen and we hope and hope...

It is just getting scarier the more I hope, the more I am scared of the dissapointment. Will my heart be strong enough to face it?

Ya Allah, grant me this one wish.....that's all I am asking.

A house becomes a home when ...

Last night wife made pizza for dinner, nothing fancy, bought a ready-made crust, topped it up chicken, sausage, capsicum, onion, cheese and mushroom., shove it into oven, and voilà, it is pizza.
We were just doing the Official Opening of the new oven we bought, or else my sis will laser again saying that "jangan-jangan dating raya tahun depan, oven masih wrapped with plastic dengan manual dalam oven".

Wife have been extra rajin , especially in cooking department after we moved in to the new house. She cooked almost every night, after work, even she is very tired, and she wake up early and prepare breakfast for me and her to bring to work, she drops me off at the Komuter and off to her office ................ hmmm so hard working!

We have been busy in weekends, cleaning up the house, since that’s the only time we have to dust and laundry.

But I don't want to be a "cleanliness Freak", whereby the house look too clean that it become unfortable to love in!

My friend Vaasugi forwarded me the poem, which I think is VERY TRUE!!!!

A house becomes a home when ...
"I love you" on the furniture."
I can't tell you how many countless hours
that I have spent CLEANING!

I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend
making sure things were just perfect --
"in case someone came over."
Then I realized one day that no-one came over;
they were all out living life and having fun!

Now, when people visit, I find no need to
explain the "condition" of my home.
They are more interested in hearing about
the things I've been doing while I was
away living life and having fun.
If you haven't figured this out yet,
please heed this advice.

Life is short. Enjoy it!
Dust if you must,
but wouldn't it be better to
paint a picture or write a letter,
bake a cake or
plant a seed,
ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must, but there's not much time,
with rivers to swim and mountains to climb,
music to hear and books to read,
friends to cherish and life to lead.

Dust if you must, but the world's out
there with the sun in your eyes,
the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow,
a shower of rain.
This day will not come around again.

Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
old age will come and it's not kind.
And when you go -- and go you must --
you, yourself will make more dust!

REMEMBER...
It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

This picture i took in Sephia mode (brownish black and white) Look kinda classic this way....

Melancholic mood

Two day ago I got to finally contact one of my ex-classmate back in Mara College Banting through https://namesdatabase.com/ services.

It is hard to believe that it has been more than 10 years since I left Banting. The memories are still fresh and vividly imprinted in my mind.

I found out that he is doing well, VERY well actually. He settled in London. He is an artist now, doing his PhD in art or something, did exhibition on his art works in one of the famous gallery in London, he got good review from art magazines and it seem the was an article on his work in NST last year, I must have missed it, since I read only The Star and occasionally Utusan (on Sundays only).

We have been exchanging few emails since, he updated most in our classmates, MOST decided to settle in England. Only few came back to Malaysia to work. Most married Britons (Scotts, Irish, and English). Everybody kind of settled down, doing quite well. I am happy for them; I have been out of touch from every single of them, since they left abroad.

I hated my life in Banting, I was miserable, first time away from home, I was unable to adapt quite well, but I managed somehow with help of few friends. But I only can look back now with fondest memory. I actually had a good time there, it was fun, I learned about live there. It was fun; I wish that I could re-live it.

I have been thinking a lot the 'what if' questions again.... A LOT!!!!!
What if I went to The UK with them with MARA scholarship? How would my left have turned out? I might turn out to be a different person, maybe better or maybe worse!
I have no regret of what I have right now. I am happy, it just that I can't help to stop thinking about the possibilities that I might have if my life followed a different path.

Ever since I went to vacation on 2004 summer in The UK, all I wanted is to work there and maybe one day settle down. I realize, that it all looks like bed of roses because I went there just for 2 weeks for holiday, the reality might be a bit bitter. But Europe is just magical, I can't quite describe it. It the feeling I had once I landed there, the fresh air, the whether, the smell, the people, the scenery, the politic, the history, the people, it is the whole package.

I am just wondering, the thought keep on lingering in my mind, I wish that it will go away....

The Moods
TIME drops in decay,
Like a candle burnt out,
And the mountains and woods
Have their day, have their day;
What one in the rout
Of the fire-born moods,
Has fallen away?

Rain...........

Terrible rain yesterday, road flooded, traffic jam everyway, trees uprooted and KTM Komuter service stoped.
There was announcement in Sentral that the komuter Port Klang bound will only go up to Seri Seria because Batu 3 Station is flooded (that's my station!). Thank God, I planned to go to mother in law house in PJ that day to collect the repaired curtain (that is entirely different story, I told aunty Nadira to cut 3 1/2 inch, she cut too much and now the curtain is not touching the floor, gosh.......... for the money she charges, this does not worth it at all!), just took the LRT to Taman Bahagia.

This morning, wife left me at Batu 3, she always dropped me at the other side of Fed hiway, I'll walk pass 3 pedestrian bridge (that a long walk, by the time I reach the station my skin will be covered by thin layer of sweat), and I consider that as a good morning exercise to perk up my metabolism. But today, the way to the station was flooded up to waiste level, few Indonesian men, take off the pants and shoes and walk through the flood... No way I am gonna do that, walked back to Fed Hiway, caught a bus to Sentral (luckily, as I just hail the 1st bus to arrive and board!) and reach office in time. At least I have backup plan now if the komuter is not down!

Welcome back to my life my sweet ASTRO baby.............

The astro I had in my room when i was living in my in laws house was registered to Ludin Bin Sulaiman which I have no idea who, my sis suppose to get a free astro when she bought a proton and she wanted to give the astro to me, but the guy in eon screwed up (she gave my sis' astro to someone else), and what I got was Astro registered to Mr Ludin Bin Sulaiman (apparently Mr Ludin refused the free astro given to him by eon, wherever you Mr Ludin, thanks!!!)

Few month back, the decoder broke down and I disconnected the service, since I was moving out and thiniking of installaing astro, perhaps, registered to my name this time. (hmmmm the astro in my parents house is also registered under my name, that is PTPTN money alright, I subscribe during UIA days, government bagi duit suruh study, but I installed astro, crazy!)

Life without astro in the bedroom while living with in law was fine, still can watch fav program downstair, but after we moved in to the new house, my God, life is so boring with out TV, we did not even had a indoor antenna to watch TV1,2 and the rest!.

It is damn boring and depressing, beyond description, so when astro was installed today! It is like our new house is finally HOME, not just a house anymore!

Can't wait for the new season of LOST to start!

To the lurkers out there............

I had this funny feeling quite long already. That somebody that should not be reading my blog reading it.

There are quite a number of people I really really don't want to read and find out about my blog. I can't mention the name here.

This blog has been quite private, only few people I trusted were given the URL. I did not give the url even to my family or my wife family. It is altogether different issue if a total strangers reads it, it would not matter. But for people who know me, there are things written here can touch quite sensitive family or work issue.

This blog is an outlet for me to pour out my heart content. It serves as diary for to refer back past even as well.

Well whoever reading this blog and know me personally, I just think it is so rude to read a person blog secrectly and thinking that they know the secret of my life! Leaving at least a comment would help for to identify the readers.

We finally moved in................!!!!

We finally moved in , in the eve of awal Muharram, kira hari baik le tu.

My in laws came and we had dinner in the new house. The house still empty, no furniture yet. Only kitchen cabinet and the inflattable bed is there.

The worse part is there is no TV, me and my wife realized that live without TV can be pretty boring. We look at each other after dinner and went to bed at 9!!! Imagine that!
Anyway we were all tired cleaning up the house.

No matter how much we clean up the house, next day they will be a layer of dust on the floor, just give !!!!

Frinz keep on asking when they can come visit, so tensed la, furniture pun xder, nak suruh duduk atas apa?
bersabar jer la................

p/s: I realise that my entry is getting boring................... :(

Married men can't go to gym?

Some people ask me questions that really make wonder that I am speechless that I can't answer it?

Why do you go to gym man?....you are already married waht? No need to go la........

I really don't see the connection? What one got to woth another? I really dont get it!!!

We only shape up to attract the girls? Is that all? How about keeping fit, overall fitness, health concious and I can give million reasons to go to gym.

FOr me it mostly hooby, it keep me occopied, whenever I feel really tensed, I'll go to gym to relax, it is really satifying.

I am been going to gym during lunch hour nowadays, easier, at least can go back straight home after work. Gym is empty during lunch time, which is just perfect!

Paal Katchran

We have successfully performed the paal katchran (paal=milk, katchran=cook) It is our culture to do this first before moving in to new house, before moving in any furniture to the house. Followed by doa selamat. We had that on 21st Jan 06. Reached new house before subuh, prayed subuh there and followes by reciting yasin and doa selamat. The imam later azan in the house twice, upstairs and downstairs.
I didn't know it would be big hoo haaa just to move in. I thought it would be simple only. Only my family and my in laws family were there. This is not a house warming. That one I have no idea when to do, even now I am way over the budget to do anything else.
Planning to move in during long weeken during Chinese New Year next week, and gonna spend the first night in the new house on Awal Muharam eve. It is a good date.
Hope things goes well.

I think I'll never ever do curtain with aunty Nadirah again, what a cut throat price! Better do in Tee Wah or normal shop.

Kitchen cabinet ohhh kitchen cabinet......

To make long story short....

The microwave oven (panasonic brand) doesn not fit into the cabinet hole.
Macam nak pengsan after I tried to fit the micro oven inside...tak muat!!!!

Macam ni............. Before they started doing the cabinet I told the cabinet fellow from Welco Kitchen (this guy quite blur sotong type) that my microwave size is 600x400 (mm). Then he said ok la, can fit, then afterward I called him that the oven doesn't fit, he said the size he mentioned was including the wood at the each side, so it less than 600. So tak muat la....

Feel like crying only, called the electric shop, they said cannot change the oven already, sebab the box all dah koyak because already soaked wet in the rain.

Gaduh punye gaduh, at the end the kitchen cabinet fellow agreed to change it with charge (initially they requested to pay a bit)

Baru lega sikit.........................

This house is our house........

This House

Where do we go from here?
What must we do to make that change?
It's time to understand, understand one another
In a world so cold a place of disbelief
Where will the people go without enough to eat
Let's not give up hope
We have to find a way
Search within our soul to make a better day
Chorus:This house is our house
Let's do it for the people
This house is their house
Let's give it back to the people
The people of the world today
I see hurt in their eyes
I hear the sounds of voices cry
It's time to open our eyes
Time to help one another
In a world so cold a place of disbelief
Where can the people go to find a place to sleep
Let's not give up hope we have to find a way
Search within our soul to make a better day

Chorus
Bridge:You-Me-We can make the difference
And you know no one, no one likes to be alone
We got to face it heart to heart
We have to make a brand new start
We got to change the tears to smiles
We have to go the exta mile
(you-me) It's time we face reality
(We can make the difference)
Give them hope and set them free
I think it's time we say goodbye
To all the homeless people's cry
Rap:We've got to take the time to search the mind to find
This house, our house
(It's all in the hands of love)
(I said it's all in the hands of love)
Chorus

Bibik

I just came back from sending Bibik to Port Klang. Her name is Boniati, but the kids calls her Bibik, which mean 'Aunty' in Indonesian, and so we all called Bibik as well.

It felt like just yesterday when I went to fetch her form the maid agency, she looked so frightened that time, crying for every question asked. She still has not recovered from the sea sick after spending 3.5 hours in ferry from Tanjung Balai (Sumatera) to Malaysia. She even felt sick when I drove her to Bentong, to send her to my mum house, since I took her as a maid for my sis. After that she never left Bentong for 2 years afraid the she will feel sick again!!! Only last month she followed my sis and the kids to Sunway Lagoon.

She is very hardworking, it is not easy to take care of 6 kids, doing house work, laundry, look after shop occasionally and helping my mum in her muruku business. She has done a lot!

Anyway, Aisha wa only 2 month old when Bibik arrived, she practically raised her. When we were leaving Bentong on Monday night, she starts crying, some how she realized that Bibik is leaving. And Bibik was hugging everyone, crying, she was so attached to my mum...... My mum just consoled her, So sad......
Even this morning she woke up and was looking for Bibik and start crying when she couldn't find her.

It is very ironic, when she arrived here, she cried that she left her family (her hubby passed away, she has 3 daughters, the youngest in 1 yrs old then). An now she is crying that she is leaving us.
I wish all the best in her life and may she live happily with her family...

p/s: This is NOT the same maid form "Maid from Hell !!! " This one work with my parents, not my parents in laws.

Maid from Hell !!!

My day started as usual, I woke up, showered, dressed up and went downstairs as usual. I prepared breakfast, normal stuffs, sausages and fried with toasted bread, made my coffee and enjoying my breakfast.

The maid bedroom was closed, no light was on, and my wife was making noise upstairs that the maid did not iron her clothes.

Then we realize that the maid, had left a good bye note and run away.

My wife panicked.... BIG TIME. There were no else home. My parents in law already in Singapore, only me, my wife and the her sis in home.

We checked the drawer where my father in law (FIL) keep the maid passport and the bank book. IT IS NOT THERE, more reason to panic. Checked the jewelry, all intact. RELIEVED. But we still would not know if she has taken anything. Only can confirmed that after the inlaws comes back.

The drawer we not break in, just locked and the key tucked nicely inder my FIL clothes.

Me and my wife took the day off to settle the mess (which we find later on that it was completely unnecessary, what a way to waste annual leave).
Made police report, stating that he maid run away with her passport, bank book and house key.

Policeman said, we need to go to immigration to cancel her passport. Ahhhh need towards my office after all.

Then, SHE called, the maid, crying................... saying that she has no where to go to and that she wanna come back............... (never ...Ever buy your maid handphone...EVER!)

She said that she run away because she was confused because her boyfriend forced her to get married fast because his mother is very sick and want to see her son get married before she die.

To cut things short, she got a long lecture from everybody, personally I wanted to send her back, no point keeping here, she might pull the same stunt again, but since she been here only few month, rugi only bayar mahal-mahal for her, tak balik modal pun.

She is ok now, she said she just want some one to talk too...............

NEVER EVER BUY YOUR MAID A HANDPHONE.

RM330 Flushed down the toilet!

Tensionnye, but what to do, it all my fault, a flaw in design, and RM330 Flushed down the toilet!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The story....

I memang beria-ria design the plaster ceiling layout, I tried to be as specific as possible, including every tiny weeny detail, siap buat macam blue print gitu. Siap the contractor also puji my design, cakap he want to learn form me to draw pakai computer, padahal I pakai Word jer lukis.

Planning punye planning, I overlooked a major factor. After the contractor pasang the frame for plaster ceiling baru nampak the flaw in the design...... The whole dining area nye light box is sticking out to the walking area, kiranya kalau letak dining table memang tak leh nak lalu ke dapur.

Contractor was pissed off, as it wasn't their fault, my stupid mistake. Talk punye talk, they agree to redo, but with extra cost of RM400, nego and nego , agreed on the Rm330.

That the story la...... Otherwise everything looks fine, but I am so nervous, tomorrow taking leave to see the progress, I have to finish off my time-off this year, 5 days!

Updates Updates Updates...........

It has been so long since I have update that I actually paused for a while trying to recall my ID and password.....

New House
Renovation work has finally started on my new house. I had a hate-egg (head ache) choosing the contractor. But just tawakal and choose one at the end, hopefully he will do a good job. Since my house is the first house he is doing in S.Kayangan, he said he will make it as show unit so he promise that he will pay extra attention to details.
It is not a major renovation I am doing, just:-

grills
plaster ceiling
electrical work
Wet kitchen
Awning

Even this small renovation cost so much!

I am very excite now about the outcome of the renovation but I feel nervous even more.....

Work
Work has been hell, not because the volume of it, but of the stupid managment.
I was moved to Normal shift so that when the post of ATL opened up I can fill up that post, so there I was working in normal shift, doing what an ATL was suppose to do.
Suddenly my TL announced that he is resigning, that was a shock to me. And the managment decided that the best person to replace him was some one who joined tha team 2 months back!
I was dissapointed. Not because of the new TL, but because of my position, it seems that there is no ATL position for this team.

I have stayed for 2 month in this position (what position?!!!!) on verbal agreement that I will be promoted to either TS or ATL, it is not my TL fault, I guess he had fight for me to get the post, but the management does not agree and the fact that he is leaving, left him with no voice to managment.

This morning I email the new TL that I'll resemu my shift since my position is still a big question mark. Without any black and white on paper, I would not consider any more proposal. Shift is not that bad, at least I have my rest days and only need to worry about cases, not the other stuffs.
